Siemens Healthineers' Test Predicts Heart Attacks a Year in Advance

Siemens Healthineers has secured FDA clearance for its Atellica IM high-sensitivity troponin I (TnIH) blood test, which can now predict the risk of heart attacks and death up to one year in advance. Already used in U.S. hospitals, the test identifies cardiac troponin I, a key biomarker for heart injury, and helps physicians take proactive steps to manage long-term patient care. With cardiovascular disease claiming an American life every 33 seconds, Siemens aims to reduce emergency visits and readmissions through early detection.
